Up is down. Down is up. Black is white. White is black. Left is right. Right is left. David Ortiz is getting standing ovations at Yankee Stadium.
The main reason is undoubtedly respect for a Hall of Fame career. There may be a little bit of relief that he’ll never torture the home team again manifesting as well.
Red Sox fans gave Derek Jeter a similar send-off at Fenway Park.
SMDH. This used to be a real rivalry. The whole world’s gone soft.
