Michigan State was having trouble scoring against Indiana in Bloomington so offensive coordinator Dave Warner dialed up this play. It’s either a clever bit of deception or worked despite looking incredibly ugly.

Whether by design or otherwise, quarterback Tyler O’Connor chose to hit wide-open Delton Williams instead of wide-open Monty Madaris for a touchdown.

Indiana followed up with undeniably trickery on the next possession when halfback Mitchell Paige threw a touchdown pass to quarterback Richard Lagow.
