Clemson Looks Playoff Bound, After Louisville Comes Up Just Short

Lamar Jackson threw an incomplete pass on third down. James Quick came up a yard short on a fourth down reception, appearing to bail rather than fight for the extra yardage. Clemson held on for a 42-36 win over Louisville at home.

The win puts Clemson in the driver’s seat in the ACC. If the Tigers can get past 3-2 Florida State in Tallahassee, there’s not much standing between them and a return to the College Football Playoff.

Clemson’s remaining schedule before the ACC title game does not look intimidating.
