Police Release Photo Of Blue Jays Fan Who Threw Beer Can On Field

Toronto police have released a photo of the fan who they believe threw a beer onto the field during Tuesday’s American League Wild Card Game. A Toronto Blue Jays fan hurled a nearly-full can of beer onto the field in an attempt to distract Baltimore Orioles left fielder Hyun-Soo Kim as he tracked a fly ball.

The police are investigating the incident and released the following photo Wednesday afternoon:

Aside from looking like a serial killer, this guy has another problem on his hands: he wasted a beer, which I’m pretty sure is a jailable offense in Canada.

The Toronto Sun has already offered a $1,000 reward for anyone who gives up information on this dolt and obviously the Blue Jays were appalled that the situation happened in their home park. The incident shocked all of baseball, and I was surprised Orioles manager Buck Showalter didn’t remove his team from the field. Then again, Buck didn’t make many good decisions Tuesday night.

That thing just missed nailing Kim in the head. He is so lucky he wasn’t seriously injured. Here’s hoping they catch this jerk and he gets a nice, long prison sentence.
