New York Mets center fielder Curtis Granderson took an extra base-hit away from Brandon Belt to preserve a 0-0 tie in the National League Wild Card Game with a sensational catch. With a Giants runner on second base and two outs in the sixth inning, Belt’s drive appeared to be good enough for the game’s first run. Granderson was able to sprint back and snag it before crashing into the wall at full speed.

With both Noah Syndergaard and Madison Bumgarner locked in, this battle could end 1-0, making Granderson’s play even more important.
