Antonio Brown Wants the NFL to Clarify How Many Pumps is Too Many Pumps

We are now in the life imitating art imitating life portion of the ridiculousness of the NFL. The crackdown on celebrations so far this season has been notable, and inconsistent in its application. Key & Peele spoofed the NFL penalizing touchdown celebrations a few years ago, with the fictional rulebook penalizing players after the third pump.
and now, we’ve come full circle, where we might be counting the number of pumps when deciding what is and is not a penalty. Antonio Brown would like a clarification if two pumps is okay but three pumps is not.
Brown said he thought toning it down to two pumps would be OK. Said he still needs more clarification from NFL.

A hard and fast two pumps rule may be coming. If the NFL wants to address its declining ratings, the best way to do that would be a Roger Goodell instructional video on what is acceptable pumping, introduced during halftime of its next primetime game.
