Tiger Woods’ much anticipated return to golf was supposed to happen this week at the Safeway Open. Tiger has repeatedly said he would only return when he believes his game is ready, apparently that is not now.

Woods officially committed to the Safeway on Friday, but will now withdraw from the event on Monday, according to Golf Channel’s Tim Rosaforte.

Woods was scheduled to play in the Pro-am on Wednesday with Steph Curry and was grouped with Phil Mickelson for the tournament.
