Michael Carter-Williams Giving His Haters and Doubters a Preseason to Remember

Michael Carter-Williams started his season making just 1 of 6 attempts from the field in the Bucks’ first preseason game, but he did have 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Before game 2, he tweeted this:

Carter-Williams proceeded to go out and shoot 1 of 8 from the field with just 3 rebounds and 1 assist. I’m sure his haters and doubters were glad they tuned in.

Now it sounds like the Bucks are shopping Carter-Williams. After winning Rookie of the Year in Philadelphia, MCW was traded to Milwaukee where he hasn’t taken a leap, but hasn’t exactly fallen off a cliff either. He averaged 11/5/5 last season on career-best shooting from the field. Still just 25, Carter-Williams should have plenty more time to entertain his haters and doubters.
