The Houston Rockets and the New Orleans Pelicans played in Beijing earlier this week. At some point during the festivities a fan got to take some halfcourt shots. Make one and you get a giant check worth 1,000,000 Renminbi. That’s the Chinese equivalent of $148,620.44. I feel like this guy should have been freaking out a lot more.
