Vontaze Burfict has a well-earned reputation as a dirty player and it got even worse on Sunday, as he took a cheap shot at Martellus Bennett’s knee. But in a largely unnoticed moment, Burfict intentionally stepped on both of LeGarrette Blount's legs after the running back scored a touchdown. Blount immediately got up and shoved Burfict.

Obviously the New England Patriots were not happy with the Cincinnati Bengals linebacker on Sunday, as Rob Gronkowski and Blount went after him at different times. Now we know why Blount was so upset.

Take a look:

There is absolutely no excuse for that. Burfict was deliberately trying to injure an opposing player and he’s done this kind of thing numerous times. At this point, is there really any reason he should be playing in the NFL? He’s a cheap-shot artist who has repeatedly put the health of other players at risk. I don’t care how talented he is, Burfict is a menace and it’s increasingly clear he can’t play within the rules or exhibit good sportsmanship while on the field.
