Shannon Sharpe made a topical political reference to Paul Ryan abandoning Donald Trump. Skip Bayless had no idea who he was. Congressman from Wisconsin? Speaker of the House? Republican VP candidate in 2012? Fellow workout fiend? No bells?
Perhaps a significant portion of the general populace may be unaware who Paul Ryan is or not following politics. What is the percentage of college-educated adults? Media members? Vanderbilt grads?
This should be exhibit 1-A for how much dedication and laser focus Skip Bayless puts into fashioning his sports opinions.
