Nick Kyrgios is currently serving an 8-week suspension as punishment for the fit he threw at the Shanghai Rolex Masters. With a little extra time on his hands, Kyrgios is apparently mapping out what he’s going to do in 2017. That includes the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. In order to make that date in New Orleans, Kyrgios has pulled out of a commitment to the Rotterdam Open.

Of all Kyrgios’ antics, this makes the most sense. The NBA All-Star Celebrity Game is one of the weirdest, most pointless events in all of sports. It barely features celebrities. The NBA is forced to fill the roster with retired players. And they love including people like Kevin Hart and Michael Rapaport who run around yelling nonsense. Kyrgios is the perfect fit.

As for the tennis tournament he’s missing, they wish he could be there, but understand he doesn’t really care about tennis right now. Everybody wins!
