Vince Carter is one of the greatest dunkers ever. DJ Stephens grew up watching Carter. Now they’re both on the Memphis Grizzlies and they sat down together to watch some of their best dunks and discuss what it’s like to be two of the humans who have come closest to actually flying.

It’s a really interesting conversation. Stephens is in such a surreal situation where he can talk to someone he idolized as a child about something so few people really experience. And then there’s Carter – who turns 40 this season – talking about his legacy and what it means to mean something to young dunkers.
