DJ Stephens Arrested For Aggravated Assault After Domestic Incident With Mother of Child

DJ Stephens spent the preseason with the Memphis Grizzlies creating highlights so good that the team had Stephens sit down with Vince Carter to discuss their greatest dunks. Stephens did not make the Grizzlies final roster and was released on October 22nd. On Wednesday night, Stephens was arrested and charged with aggravated assault towards the mother of his child. Via WREG:

"Booker claims that Stephens grabbed her by the neck during an argument and threw her to the ground at least twice. Police say Booker had several bruises including scrapes to her neck, face and a swollen and bloodshot left eye."

The incident took place on Monday.
