Derek Carr had a ridiculous afternoon on Sunday. The Oakland Raiders quarterback completed 40-of-59 passes for 513 yard and four scores. But none of those completions was bigger than his 41-yard touchdown pass to Seth Roberts in overtime. The completion came with just 1:45 left in the extra frame and gave the Raiders a huge road win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Raiders faced fourth and three from Tampa’s 41-yard line with time running out, and rather than attempt a long field goal, Jack Del Rio opted to go for it. That decision paid off when Carr hit Roberts over the middle with a perfect throw. The wideout proceeded to break two tackles, then streak to the end zone unopposed.

The Raiders seem like a charmed team this year. Their 30-24 win improved their record to 6-2 and gives them a 5-0 mark on the road. The fact that they won despite racking up an NFL record 23 penalties is stunning.
