John Daly's Song "Hit it Hard" Moves into Top 100 Country Songs on iTunes

The ESPN 30 for 30 documentary on John Daly aired on Tuesday night and in my opinion it was a pretty spectacular look into the two-time major champion’s life. Daly, who won the 1991 PGA Championship and 1995 Open Championship, has battled alcoholism, a gambling addiction, and several other issues off the course of his 50 years on this earth. He asks no sympathy from fans and followers because he realizes the damages he’s done have been of his own making.

Daly released a song entitled “Hit it Hard” in 2014 and after the 30 for 30 show had ended the song jumped into the top 100 on iTunes in the country music genre.

Despite all of his issues, Daly continues to be a fan favorite. He’s loyal to his fans and appreciates that they’ve stuck by him throughout his career.

Daly is now playing regularly on the Champions Tour where his highest finish is a tie for 11th.
