Russell Westbrook Left Looking Like a Doofus While Seeking His Revenge Against Kevin Durant

Russell Westbrook’s revenge will have to be served cold because he came in hot last night and got his ass kicked. Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder took on Kevin Durant for the first time as opponents and the results were definitive. Durant won the breakup and the Warriors won the game easily. Westbrook showed up mocking Durant in an outfit too ridiculous for Halloween or one of his weird Sprite ads.

He then mocked Stephen Curry’s pregame shooting rituals …

Westbrook then came out and shot 4-of-15 from the field in a 26-point blowout loss. Meanwhile, Durant was a man on fire scoring 39 points in 31 minutes.

After the game Westbrook was left complaining about the Warriors trash talking more than they used to.

Dude. Refer to the previous instances of attempted trolling leading up to the increased trash talk. Besides, that’s what happens when you’re up 25 at halftime and the game is never in doubt.

Westbrook defiantly says the teams will see each other again and that’s true. They play again in January, February, and March. That should give him some time to think up some more sick burns related to Durant’s hobbies. Maybe he won’t look hurt or petty by then. Maybe the Thunder will even win one of their remaining regular season games against Golden State. But they aren’t getting past them in the playoffs. Until then, Westbrook will be stuck looking like the doofus he wants us all to believe that Kevin Durant is for a better situation.
