Bill Belichick Did Write A Letter To Donald Trump Per Report

Donald Trump read a letter purporting to be from Bill Belichick at a rally in New Hampshire. Pats reporter Tom E. Curran is reporting that Belichick did send the letter.

Belichick being friendly with Trump, holding right-wing political views, and sending Trump a note all seem plausible. More plausible than Trump just making that up. Though,  the diction while reading the letter certainly seemed “Trumped up.”

One suspects Belichick didn’t expect Trump to read the note to a rally crowd and have it create a distraction mid-season.

Belichick hung up on at least one reporter who called him for comment about the letter.

Curran, who does Patriots Postgame Live, was also not having anything to do with a fan questioning his sources.
