The Sacramento Kings beat the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday, 102-94. With the loss, the Pelicans dropped to 0-8 on the season. Rookie Buddy Hield again failed to standout, scoring 14 points on 16 shots and making just 1-of-7 three-pointers. During the 4th quarter, he went to the basket and was met by DeMarcus Cousins. Boogie swatted Hield’s shot while the rookie hit Cousins and then the floor.

This is the physical manifestation of Hield’s season through 8 games. He’s playing 21 minutes a night behind E’Twaun Moore and Tim Frazier, shooting 34% from the field and 20% from 3. And again, he’s playing on the worst team in the Western Conference and it might not be close.
