Jake Layman is a rookie out of Maryland. (Maybe you remember his grandmother dabbing on Senior Night?) The Portland Trail Blazers rookie has appeared in just two (blowout) games, but he’s made his presence known in both. Last night against the Clippers he had 9 points including this dunk that was so nice he got Chris Paul to jump out of his seat.

In Layman’s other appearance this season he scored 17 points, hitting 5-of-7 three-pointers in 8 minutes against the Warriors.

Layman’s limited minutes have provided us with one of those amazing small sample size statistics that come along once in a lifetime. That’s right. Layman scores 10.7 more points per 36 minutes than Michael Jordan. Jake Layman – greatest of all-time.
