LSU interim head coach Ed Orgeron has won four of five games since taking over for Les Miles. If he is to get the permanent reins he’ll have to emerge from a crowded rumor mill full of big names like Jimbo Fisher and Larry Fedora. Working against Coach O is the notion that he’s not a sexy name. Working for Coach O is the undeniable fact that he can give one heck of a pre-game hype speech.
It’s not so much what he says, it’s how he says it. And the way he says it is with a passion unknown to most men. One can’t fake this type of enthusiasm.
