Kevin Love Made 8 3-Pointers in the First Quarter, is Still Going
By Tully Corcoran

Kevin Love, the third-best player on the Cleveland Cavaliers, made eight 3-pointers scored 34 points in the first quarter tonight against the Portland Trail Blazers, who are not doing a particularly good job on Kevin Love.
That was the second-most points ever scored in a single quarter by an individual player behind Klay Thompson’s 37 from 2015, and the 3-pointers put him in range of Stephen Curry’s single-game NBA record (13).

The Cavs led 46-31 after the first quarter.
Love’s career high is 51 points. Bad news on that front, though: He scored no points in the second quarter.
