Bucs defensive back Alterraun Verner beautifully read a Russell Wilson pass, jumped receiver Paul Richardson’s route, and intercepted the ball. When his return was over, Verner was mobbed by his teammates.

Verner’s father, Robert Lee Verner, died on Friday morning at the age of 61. On the sidelines after the play, Verner was understandably very emotional. It is impossible not to feel anything but overwhelming warmth for Verner in this moment.
