Russell Westbrook's Secret to Rebounding is Pretending He Doesn't Want the Rebound

Russell Westbrook wants to get the rebound. Don’t be fooled by his uninterested act. He really does want that rebound. He’s always listening. Waiting. Chilling. Do not trust Russell Westbrook. He will take your rebound.

The impetus for that answer was an offensive rebound Westbrook got on a missed foul shot during his latest triple-double. In an overtime win over the Wizards, Westbrook had 35 points (on 35 shots!), 14 rebounds and 11 assists. It was his 46th career triple-double, which put him one ahead of LeBron James – and in 6th place all-time – in nearly 400 fewer games. Westbrook is just 28 and passing Larry Bird (59) this season seems like a real possibility.
