Lonzo Ball, UCLA’s super freshman, had 5 points and a (freshman) school record 13 assists in a win over UC Riverside on Wednesday. Lonzo leads the NCAA in assists with 9.6 per game. That’s all very good and I’m sure his parents would have taken him out for his favorite meal after the game, but he might have actually been overshadowed by his little brother, Li’Angelo, who hit 13 three-pointers and scored 72 in a high school game last night.

Li’Angelo, a senior, has already committed to UCLA where he’ll just miss playing with his big brother by a year. His 72-point effort followed a 56-point game earlier this week. LaMelo Ball, the littlest Ball brother, had 24 points and 18 assists. [SLAM]
