DeMarcus Cousins Involved in Matt Barnes Nightclub Incident

DeMarcus Cousins was apparently involved in the New York City nightclub incident where Matt Barnes was accused of choking a woman. TMZ obtained video showing Barnes and Cousins outside Avenue night club after the incident. Cousins is shown shaking and rubbing his right hand and talking about a guy trying to choke Barnes. It sounds like Boogie got involved.

According to TMZ, police are looking for Barnes, who is 6th on the Kings in scoring and 4th in rebounding. Meanwhile, Cousins is 3rd in the NBA in scoring right now, but the Kings are 7-13. This is the first time that I can recall Cousins being involved in anything off the court. This can’t be the kind of veteran example the Kings were hoping for when they signed the volatile Barnes. You also have to wonder if an off-the-court incident could finally push the Kings to part ways with Cousins.
