Blake Bortles has thrown 20 touchdowns and 15 interceptions this season and the Jacksonville Jaguars are 2-10. Through three seasons Bortles has now thrown 66 touchdown passes and 50 interceptions. Last Sunday he set a new mark for futility as he threw his 11th career pick-six. He’s officially been involved in more of those than wins as a professional. Obviously, interceptions are a bit of a problem for the Jags’ 24-year old quarterback. Luckily, he knows the secret to throwing fewer interceptions going forward.
It’s so crazy it might just work. Tune in Sunday to see if his plan works against the Minnesota Vikings. Minnesota is tied for 5th in the NFL with 12 picks this season. The Vikings have the 4th best passing and scoring defense in the league. Should be an interesting test case for his theory.
