VIDEO: Jeff Triplette Made an Egregious Illegal Hands to the Face Call Against the Lions

Jeff Triplette has long been on the shortlist of most questionable NFL officials. This call today during the Bears-Lions game, in which he pretty clearly called illegal hands to the face against the wrong team, will go on whatever the opposite of the Canton reel is.

Though it negated a 14-yard running play, the call did not wind up being consequential, as the Lions made the yards back and ultimately finished the drive with a field goal.
