WATCH: Seattle Punter Jon Ryan Knocked Out On Ridiculous Fake Punt

Jon Ryan and the Seattle Seahawks just completed one of the most ridiculous plays I’ve ever seen.

With a 24-3 lead over the Los Angeles Rams in the fourth quarter, the Seahawks faced a 4th and 1 at their own 27. Rather than kick it away when he received the snap, Ryan opted to run with the ball. He broke into the open, scampered for 33 yards but as he was running he lost control of the ball, regained it, fell and had a defender land on his head. Ryan was clearly knocked out cold.

Seattle’s Neiko Thorpe recovered Ryan’s second fumble of the play and gave the Seahawks a first down on the Rams’ 45 yard line.

Ryan left the game and became the fourth player to get checked out for a concussion in the contest.
