Cincinnati found a very painful way to lose today against SMU. After holding the Mustangs to a field goal on the first possession of overtime, the Bearcats had 3rd-and-4 from the 19-yard line. Instead of taking the sack and banking on a game-tying field goal attempt, quarterback Hayden Moore did this. And it did not work.
The lesson? Never try at anything.
