Tiger Woods joined Todd Lewis of the Golf Channel on Tuesday ahead of the Hero World Challenge to discuss a wide array of topics. Woods talked about rolling back the golf ball and setting a different standard for the pros. His ideas on the topic are great and hopefully the PGA Tour and ball manufacturers take his thoughts into consideration moving forward because a lot of the guys on Tour are just overpowering courses.

Lewis also asked Woods if he considered retiring from the sport to which Woods responded, “I don’t know if retirement is the word, but I didn’t think I could ever play golf with my friends again because I spent most of last year in bed.” Woods continued, “I was just trying to go from point A to point B in my house.”

The 14-time major champion also discussed his tempered expectations moving forward and sounded extremely reasonable in what he expects from his game.

I guess we should all consider ourselves lucky that Tiger will be around for a little while longer.
