Bret Boone DMs Reporter To Mock Sexual Harassment Allegations

Former major league second baseman Bret Boone apparently thinks sexual harassment isn’t a big deal. So much so that the former Seattle Mariners infielder slid into a reporter’s DMs on Twitter to mock them.

Stephen Cohen works for the Seattle Post-Intelligencer and posted the following string of tweets on Wednesday:

Uh, yeah, Bret you may want to sit out for a bit. Your righteous indignation is fishy coming from an accused steroids cheat.

The 48-year-old Boone retired from baseball in 2005 and the only news he’s made since then was when he opened up about his struggles with alcohol in his 2016 autobiography.
