Jason Dufner Blocked by Brandel Chamblee for Cursing in a Tweet

Jason Dufner is now one of about 20,000 other people that has been blocked by Golf Channel’s Brandel Chamblee. Chamblee is known to be a serial Twitter blocker and explained to me during The Players Championship earlier this year that profanity directed towards him or insults about he and his wife Bailey Mosier, who also works for Golf Channel, is the easiest way to get blocked.

Dufner was blocked for using profanity even though he kind of censored himself while defending his swing coach Chuck Cook. Prior to the block, Chamblee had asked the 2013 PGA Championship winner to take him off the Twitter thread and quit replying to him while arguing with fans, but that didn’t happen.

I block people who are profane straight away and have very little tolerance for rudeness. Hence why I blocked Dufner. The F word should not be leaned on to make a point.

After getting blocked, Dufner shared the news with his followers; many of whom chimed in that they had also been blocked.

I’ve yet to get blocked by Chamblee and even though I disagree with a lot of what he says I have respect for him after sitting down and talking to him and seeing first-hand just how well prepared he is when he starts spitting out stats.
