Tiger Woods has finished the first round of his return to professional golf at the Hero World Challenge after 301 days away. Woods had a very solid day and managed to finish with a three-under 69, just three strokes off the current clubhouse leader Tommy Fleetwood.

Woods looked very comfortable on the course and didn’t appear to be suffering from any pain at any point during the round. While it wasn’t a perfect round, it was a good round after such a long layoff. He made five birdies and two bogies and hit seven of 13 fairways, 11 of 18 greens and had 27 putts.

After his round, Woods spoke with Golf Channel’s Todd Lewis and said he felt he played well.

If you weren’t following along on social media, here are some of Tiger’s shots from the first round.
