Let's Check in on Mike Greenberg's New York City Adventures

Mike Greenberg’s new show, Get Up, will be filmed at ESPN’s new studio in Lower Manhattan. The location should allow for more in-studio guests than Bristol. On the other hand, there will be new challenges, like that pesky New York City traffic.
There are things in life that require more patience than trying to get cross town in a cab in Manhattan this time of year, but right now none jumps easily to mind.

Greenberg identified a very common problem. Every New Yorker who has ever been in a stalled cab has gone through the five stages of cross-town grief, the final being acceptance that this car has become your prison.
Everyone has their own theories about how to get around this problem and all are flawed. Personally, I advocate biting the bullet, hopping on the FDR and going around the problem.
