Ohtani finished meeting with teams Tuesday night and announced his decision on Friday instead of dragging things out until the December 22 deadline. I guess the Japanese truly are more efficient at everything.
Cristobal replaces Taggart: After a strong push from the team’s players, Oregon has named Mario Cristobal as its permanent head football coach. I’ve been saying that was the right move for a few days, so I’m always happy to be proven right.
