The Waiver Wire is winding down with its final version, as many leagues are going to their semifinals. Next week, I’ll still post the Wednesday starter rankings as always and note players who might be available. Hopefully, the advice has been helpful at some point this year. There aren’t many running back options to turn to this week, so hopefully you’ve grabbed past highlighted players and have a Kenyan Drake or Alex Collins to turn to.

Let’s get to the recommendations.

QUARTERBACKS

Nick Foles (2%) at NYG. He starts with a good matchup and even though he’s not Carson Wentz, I still think he is a viable top 12 start this week.

Jimmy Garoppolo (45%) vs TEN has not scored touchdowns, but he has averaged over 300 passing yards in his two starts. Touchdowns follow yards and they will come soon. Jimmy G is the real deal, and will be an exciting option next year when Pierre Garcon returns to the offense.

Trevor Siemian (9%) at IND is your low-end desperation matchup start because it’s the Colts.

RUNNING BACKS

Theo Riddick (67%) probably saved a few seasons last week. He’s not going to get many carries, but he got two rushing touchdowns to go with his usual PPR production last week.

Matt Forte (66%) is a potential flex start at NO, though the lack of a quarterback is a major draw back.

Rod Smith (28%) at OAK is really the only other flex option off the waiver wire, as he came through with lots of yardage when the Cowboys played with the lead, and he gets a good matchup again.

WIDE RECEIVERS

Marquise Goodwin (58%) vs TEN for awhile and he has been averaging over 100 receiving yards since Jimmy G took over. He’s a top 20 start this week and may very well be available.

Dede Westbrook (38%) vs HOU had his best game as a pro and has emerged since getting the opportunity with Allen Hurns out. Great matchup against Houston as well.

Mike Wallace (53%) at CLE will give you a pretty good chance at a TD.

TIGHT ENDS

Not much to write home about here. Eric Ebron (36%) had 10 catches last week against Tampa and gets Chicago at home.

OJ Howard (41%) has had over 50 yards in 3 of his last 4 games and scored a touchdown last week.
