NFL Replay Review Determined that Damiere Byrd Got His Butt Cheeks Down In Bounds

Ron Rivera challenged a play that was called incomplete at the back of the end zone, as it looked like Damiere Byrd secured the ball as he landed on the end line. Mike Pereira of FOX focused in on the key question of the day when he said he was “looking at the cheeks.”
Somehow, this was deemed clear evidence to overturn the call on the field. Yeah, we don’t know.
