Dustin Johnson is still the number one golfer in the world after winning recently at the RBC Canadian Open. This course sets up really well for DJ. He can bomb it out there and then hit his wedges in close to the pin on these soft greens.

Rory McIlroy is coming off of two solid performances and appears to be rounding into form once again. After his T2 at the Open, he followed that up with a T6 at the WGC-Bridgestone, and while it wasn’t a win like he’d hoped, it shows that his game is solid now.

Brooks proved that he isn’t just a one-hit wonder after he won his second U.S. Open on a totally different style course than the first. His win at Shinnecock showed everyone that he is a much more complete golfer than many thought. He’s got the game, but can he hold it together? His best performance in a PGA Championship came in 2016 at Baltusrol.

Justin Rose has had a phenomenal year, but he had to pull out of the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational with back spasms, which doesn’t bode well for him entering this week. He’s a bit of a risky pick, but he’s still got all of the tools to win a second major championship.

Here we go again. Just like with Sergio Garcia, every time a major championship rolls around the questions regarding whether or not Rickie can win the big one will come up. Fowler almost pulled off a win earlier this year at the Masters, but came up just short of Patrick Reed. It was the third time that he has finished runner-up in a major championship. There’s a lot that could go right this week for Rickie, but he’ll have to keep pace with the big boys in the top 10 who have already proven that they can win on the big stage.

Tiger Woods showed everyone during the Open Championship that this comeback is for real. Woods led entering the back nine on Sunday but couldn’t hold onto the lead. That has been his issue all season. Once he gets near the top of the leaderboard, he falters coming down the homestretch.
