These two teams have enjoyed good starts to the season, with 8-5 LA boasting a one-game lead on the 7-6 Spurs. San Antonio will play the second night of a back-to-back after losing in a blowout to the last-place Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night.  While the return of Rudy Gay from injury has certainly been a boost to Gregg Popovich’s rotation, the team has still been more inconsistent than the Hall of Fame coach would like. DeMar DeRozan and LaMarcus Aldridge lead this team offensively, and young players such as Bryn Forbes and Derrick White are starting to show their potential.

Doc Rivers is also doing a great job coaching the young Clippers, who are playing exciting basketball and have in 20-year-old guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander one of the best rookies of the season so far. Tobias Harris and Montrezl Harrell are also impressing in the frontcourt, and the Clippers will no doubt be hungry to win a big game at home and continue a strong start to the campaign.

This has been one of the best recent rivalries in the NBA, and although these teams no longer have superstars like Chris Paul or Kawhi Leonard, they still have two great coaches. This should be fun, and you can stream this and many more NBA games with fuboTV. Sign up now for a free trial.
