The NFL Playoffs continue Sunday with two massive matchups in the Wildcard Round, and the early games features an intriguing AFC game between the Los Angeles Chargers and the Baltimore Ravens at the M&T Bank Stadium.

The Chargers are the favorites coming into this one, despite having to play on the road. Behind a phenomenal, MVP-worthy season from quarterback Philip Rivers, Los Angeles outperformed pre-season expectations and went toe-to-toe with their division rivals, the Kansas City Chiefs. Both teams finished with the same record, but the Chargers missed out on the AFC West title on tiebreakers and not only have to play in the Wildcard Round, but also travel. They won seven of their eight road games this season, however, so Rivers and Co. are more than comfortable in hostile environments.
A hostile environment is exactly what the Ravens need, and their home field advantage has always been a big boost for the team. The season started poorly and there were no playoff hopes early on, but a key decision from head coach John Harbaugh changed everything: Joe Flacco lost his long-time role as starting quarterback, with rookie Lamar Jackson taking his place. Jackson went 6-1 as a starter, and his ability to run with the football is a big reason why Baltimore is in the playoffs.
This might be the best game in this Wildcard Round, and the Chargers’ modern offense going up against the Ravens’ old-school approach should give us a fascinating 60 minutes of football.
