Omaha Beach: Kentucky Derby Favorite Scratched from Race

Omaha Beach, who as of earlier today was the favorite to win the Kentucky Derby at 4-1 odds, has been scratched from the race. According to Pat Forde at Yahoo Sports, the horse was coughing this morning and when it was examined a test revealed entrapped epiglottis, which disrupts the horse’s breathing.
