Ron Darling Cancer Stabilized, Returning to Mets Broadcasts

Ron Darling announced some excellent news this morning: His thyroid cancer is stabilized and he is returning to the SNY Mets booth on Tuesday night for their home game against the Giants.

Darling’s leave of absence began when he underwent chest surgery in mid-April. This is his 14th season as a color commentator for the Mets, and it is fantastic that he will be back to work this week.
