Glazer reports that Luke McCown, who has five NFL starts in his career – he arrived in Cleveland in 2004 – will get the nod against Tennessee. The Jaguars weren’t expected to do much this season, and now that they’ll be led by McCown – who knows, maybe Gabbert will get some run – you can go ahead and further lower those expectations.

[UPDATE: Everyone and their mom thinks it makes sense for the Jaguars to trade for Denver backup – and local hero – Tim Tebow. His parents have lived in Jacksonville. Tim Tebow could run for Mayor of Jacksonville and win in a landslide. Denver appears to have dropped Tebow to third on the depth chart behind Brady Quinn. If the Jaguars are looking to sell a few tickets, this isn’t a bad idea.]
