Luka Doncic recently played his first full game for the Los Angeles Lakers without LeBron James by his side. Despite fans rooting for him, Doncic was unable to guide the team to a win over the Brooklyn Nets.

In a surprising turn of events, the Lakers were handed a 111-108 defeat by the then-12th seeded Nets in the Eastern Conference.

Speaking of Doncic, the 26-year-old superstar made headlines after he was seemingly treated unfairly by the NBA officials during the Lakers vs. Nets clash.

At one point during the game, Doncic was pushed in the back by the Nets' Nic Claxton, but the refs turned a blind eye to the incident. Now, another angle of the incident has surfaced on social media that has infuriated LA Lakers fans.

As evident from the above-attached clip, refs ignorance on the push was called out by Lakers fans on X (formerly known as Twitter).

"Refs need to be investigated. Again," a fan wrote.

"IN PLAIN SIGHT!!! They just HATE LUKA bro," another added.

"Those refs should both be suspended. Unbelievable," one furious fan suggested.

"Man, this is a brutal angle for that ref. Sometimes I think we complain too much but this is pretty damn egregious," a fan stated.

As a few fans claimed, there are times when the referees can be given the benefit of the doubt on close calls, but missing a clear foul is simply unacceptable at this stage of the competition.
