Al Horford Ejected After Elbowing Matthew Dellavedova
Al Horford, who had 14 points in the first half for the Atlanta Hawks, was ejected late in the second quarter after he and Matthew Dellavedova got a little bit tangled up, and Horford came down with an elbow (which didn’t really land). This was a little bit similar to last round when Taj Gibson was ejected after retaliating against Dellavedova. Dellavedova was also involved in the play in Game 2 which caused Kyle Korver to miss the remainder of the playoffs with an ankle injury.
IMHO, this shouldn’t have been an ejection for Horford, who really could’ve walloped Dellavedova much more if that was going to be the result.
