American Pharoah Wins Preakness, Will Race for Triple Crown [VIDEO]

American Pharoah followed up its Kentucky Derby victory with an impressive victory margin at Pimlico for the Preakness. He led nearly from start to finish. Tale of Verve, Divining Rod, and Dortmund finished second, third, and fourth respectively. Amidst torrential rains, the infield was evacuated and the track was completely soaked. Thankfully, no horses fell.

The Belmont Stakes happens on June 6th, and American Pharoah will vie to be the first horse to win the triple crown since Affirmed in 1978.
