Arizona Beat Cal With a Last-Second Hail Mary

Anu Solomon connected with Austin Hill on a 47-yard Hail Mary pass as time expired to push Arizona past Cal in thrilling fashion, 49-45. The Wildcats trailed by 22 points at the start of the second half, scored 36 points in the 4th quarter – including 19 in the final 3:30 – ending a crazy day of college football.
Solomon, a redshirt freshman, attempted 73 passes, passing for 520 yards and five touchdowns. Arizona, coached by Rich Rodriguez, is 4-0.
