During ESPN’s NBA coverage on Friday night, Bill Simmons joked that Jeff Green of the Boston Celtics was invisible during the Celtics’ loss to Chicago. “I mean, he’s been invisible. I keep waiting for him to date Manti Te’o.” Woof. Bill Simmons wrote this joke at least 24 hours ago. Then he patiently waited for a national audience. Wen his Celtics lost and one of the players had a particularly quiet performance, Simmons shoehorned it in to the chagrin of Mike Wilbon.
