Bored Mavs Fans Read the Newspaper During 76ers Blowout

The Philadelphia 76ers are 0-8, and they’ve lost their last two games by a combined 85 points. Though their strategy of being awful for several years is probably just about the best thing they can do for the long run of their franchise, it feels like the tanking has been going on for long enough that it’s a violation of the social pact we should have with our sports teams.

A pair of Mavericks fans last night came prepared for a blowout with a newspaper last night. It’s almost a perfect tagline for this year’s 76ers that they’re less interesting than sports news that is probably at least 24 hours old by the time it was being read.
